This project helps to elevate the level of design in the neighborhood adjacent to the Wenatchee Valley College which itself is characterized by high quality architecture. In order to satisfy parking and open space zoning requirements associated to the site, some parking is tucked under a portion of the building and a significant community deck is built over a portion of the surface parking. Both of these design elements serve to reduce the visual impact of the parking from the street.
