The 164th Street Apartments project is located within the Urban Center zone of Snohomish County. This zoning designation is used in areas where high density development is desired. As such, this project is designed with the urban character that is envisioned for this zone. Consisting of four 6-story buildings this project has a total of 335 units. The 4.9 acre site is laid out so that buildings front the street and parking is located either within the structures or behind. Open space including a community garden and plaza have been developed for use by both residents and the public in order to utilize the density bonus provisions available in the Urban Center zone.
